Today, John Kerry's editorial on LGBT rights was published exclusively on Planet Out and Gay.com.
In it, Kerry details his extensive 30-plus year record of support for LGBT issues.
Mark Seifert, the Kerry campaign's LGBT outreach director, and I are getting ready to embark on an agressive voter contact program during this year's Pride season.

i am really curious as to what this democracy for America is all about. are you implying that we do not have democracy here in America? do you believe that Kerry is the answer to democracy? if that is the case, let me say this. John Kerry is a pathological lyer. he does not know what the truth is nor would his position on democracy be the same from one day to the next. does he not know what he has been doing all thoes years in DC?
Hey Jon,
We started out as "Out for Dean" as the LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bi, trans, intersex) group within "Dean for America" ....
And then changed our name to "Out for Democracy" as the LGBTI group within "Democracy for America"
"Out" is commonly associated with the queer community as in coming "Out of the Closet", but based on your comments, maybe we should make that more explicit on the page.
I think among progressive democrats there is a wide range of views on Kerry, but a strong consensus that we need to pull together to win this election.
Even progressives that don't particularly like Kerry would choose Kerry over Bush in a heartbeat.
As evidence to that point check out the site.
