Young Democrats of America are gearing up for their annual National Conference, being held June 9th-11th, 2006 in Las Vegas. Young Democrats of America (YDA) is the official youth arm of the Democratic Party and is open to anyone under the age of 36 who affiliates with the Democratic Party.

Jeremy Slaughter heads up the GLBT Caucus of YDA. Jeremy has worked on several campaigns, ans is currently a Graduate Student at the University of Utah earning a Masters in Public Administration.

The GLBT Caucus is planning a great event for Las Vegas. They will be holding a reception at Hamburger Mary's Saturday June 10th. There will be a $5 cover at the door with all the proceeds going to the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth.
