David, Hillary is no friend of the LGBT community. She's way too unscrupulous even by politicians' standards. Look at the way she claimed to be a supporter of the rights of Latinos and workers-- and then stood by to support that repulsive border fence and round-up bill, and that awful bill making Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy easier for corrupt corporations but harder for individuals having a tough year. She's too prone to betray and doublecross even her reliable friends if she thinks it would gain her a little bit of political advantage. She's not one to support for elected office-- most of my Dem friends won't vote for her in the primaries or in the general election if she'd be nominated. That's not a good start to the season.

Hey Charlie,

I haven't made a decision about who I personally want to support in 2008 - but I would say that Hillary is not at the top of my list either.

Still, I would like to see the LGBT community play an active role in all of the primary campaigns.

To that end I have created sections on OFD for Barack Obama, John Edwards, and Hillary Clinton. And I hope folks who are interested in particular candidates will utilize them, as well as the Yahoo Groups.

My goal is not so much to do what I did with Out for Dean in this election cycle, my goal is to support, encourage, and mentor folks who want to build their own 'Out fors ... ' in this Primary season.

Cheers,

David Mariner
